Welcome to Spinyback

Spinyback is named in honour of New Zealand's Tuatara ('spiny back' in Maori).

A true survivor, the Tuatara's lineage stretches back more than 200 million years, making it the world's last living link to the age of the dinosaurs and one of Aotearoa's most remarkable native species.

Grown under Nelson's famous sunshine, Spinyback wines are packed with vibrant fruit flavours and made for adventures big and small. Whether it's a beach day, a backyard barbecue or a weekend off the beaten track, these are easy-drinking wines made for making the most of the moment.

A contribution from every bottle sold supports Tuatara conservation, helping protect this extraordinary species and the wild places it calls home.
